The Holiday Bikini – A Recipe

We present a simplified version of a beverage featured on our latest cocktail list. This is a party-sized pre-mixed that's packed full of essence of the Christmas time, which makes it ideal for hosting a celebration. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup for morning drinks, sweets, or to make additional servings of bikinis.

The Bikini Cocktail

Serves 10 guests

For the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

To make the Drink (produces 850ml, to serve 10)

400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing

Directions

To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Place the listed components in a pot, bring to a simmer, agitating to dissolve. Next, turn off the heat allowing it to cool down entirely. Transfer into an clean bottle, close it and store in the refrigerator, it can be stored for about one month.

For the Batch Mix: Combine all the liquids in a big jug, let it rest for 60 minutes, then filter it preferably using muslin, so it's fully clarified.

For serving: Measure 85ml of the premix to a stirring glass filled with ice, and stir carefully for a minute to cool it down. Filter to a cold coupe glass or similar, top with the cranberries and finish with a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the drink.
